Art is one of the oldest languages known to humanity. Before science explained the world and before technology reshaped it, art was already helping people express fear, hope, culture and identity. Art does not always answer questions — sometimes it simply makes us feel them.
The lighting on this piece by Moon Girl on drip caught my attention.
What I really like is the contrast between the bright white details and the deep orange glow in the background. The glowing eyes especially make the portrait feel alive in a good way. Definitely one of those artworks that feels even more impressive the longer you look at it.
